Web Marketing Strategy
The litmus test for a successful web marketing strategy is simply this: Are the right kind of people, coming to your website in large enough numbers and purchasing your product or service in desirable quantities? You do not just need traffic to your website; you want potential buyers. Moreover, you do not merely need potential buyers to visit your product or service offerings; you need those leads to convert.
Generating buzz and being searchable via search engines such as Google and Yahoo! requires that you create value offerings related to the products or services that you are selling. This also contributes to brand building in the longer-run. For example, if you are selling smoking cessation aids, contract the author of a popular book on the subject to share free chapters from his smoking cessation book exclusively on your website.
Generating leads for your products and services will be an exercise in futility if the quality of your offering or the quality of your presentation is below par. In order for your leads to convert, you will have to make the quality promise: by presenting your offerings in a polished fashion. Then you will have to deliver on that quality promise by offering a high-quality product or service.
Developing creative marketing strategies that utilize web trends such as social media optimization and Web 2.0 is my forte. If you are evolving a plan to market your product or services online, we should be talking: nas@nasraja.com .
